LUMBARDA, a village and harbour in the easternmost part of the island of Korcula, between the coves of Przina and Bili Zal, 6 km southeast of the town of Korcula. East of the village is the Lumbarda field, consisting of reddish and yellowish soils (Pleistocene sand), which offer excellent conditions for viticulture (famous wine Grk). Economy is based on farming, fishing, processing of stone and tourism. Underwater fishing is possible from Bili Zal to Vrbovica. Lumbarda is located on the regional road, which connects Lumbarda with the town of Korcula.
