Maranovici is situated on the southeastern part of the island of Mljet, proclaimed a National Park due to its beautiful landscapes and unique features. Mljet is connected to the mainland by the scheduled boat line (Rijeka - Sobra, Dubrovnik - Sobra). The old settlement lies 2 km from the sea in a fertile part of the island and has some 60 inhabitants, while private houses with rooms and apartments have been built close to the sea. We recommend it for a quiet holiday since there is only a store and a restaurant in the vicinity and there are no noisy caf?s. Mljet's fascinating underwaters are ideal for divers, sports fishermen and sailing enthusiasts. If you like to take walks, there are many interesting places to go in Maranovici's surroundings.
