LOVISTE, a village on the southern coast of the cove of Luka, in the extreme north-western part of the Peljesac Peninsula. Chief occupations are farming, viticulture, fruit growing, fishing and tourism. In the vicinity of Loviste are numerous small coves (Przna, Cesminova, Krizica, Rasoha, Bezdija) with beaches. In the northern part of the cove of Luka is the hamlet of Mirce; the cove is a well protected pier for yachts.
