TRPANJ, a town and harbour on the northern coast of the Peljesac Peninsula, 11 km northeast of Orebic. Mild climate; the average air temperature in January attains 7 ?C and in July 26 ?C. Chief occupations include farming, fishing and fish processing. Trpanj is situated on the regional road passing along the peninsula; linked by ferry with Ploce. Yachts can berth along the embankment.
